EeePad Transformer Available in the Philippines

The 10.1 inch dual core, dual identity Honeycomb Android tablet from Asus is officially launched in the Philippines. It is dual identity in a sense that you can carry it as a tablet or work on it like a laptop when docked to it's keyboard that has extra battery, a trackpad and added I/O ports. Battery life is 9.5 hours in tablet mode and extends to 16 hours with the dock connected. And with it's price of 23,000 pesos for the tablet only package, it is a good deal compared to the 7 inch Samsung Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi version that sells for 16,000 pesos. The added cost gives you dual core processing power, the latest Android version, a bigger screen with higher resolution and an 5 megapixel camera. Package price with the keyboard dock included is 30,000 pesos.
