Asus PadFone

Asus announced in Computex 2011 a combo of a phone and tablet in one. Similar to Motorola Atrix where you dock the phone to the tablet to enjoy bigger screen real estate. But better with a more rugged and discrete docking concept that hides the phone inside the tablet. Maybe it will run Android's next generation OS, Ice Cream Sandwich that is specifically described as the a common OS for both phone and tablet unlike previous versions made specifically for phone or tablet.

Here is what Asus promises to deliver with their new PadFone:
  • Enlarge your screen size any time you need to
  • Seamless transition of applications between pad and phone
  • Eliminate data transfer hassle with a single storage pool
  • One SIM card for two devices
  • Use the pad as an extended battery to charge your phone
  • Have a video conferencing experience and easily share with family and friends
Good products in Asus pipiline right after the Asus EeePad Transformer that is now available in the Philippines.
